On March 29, Prof. Shiping Zhu, Vice President, CUHKSZ, led a delegation to visit Petra 1 in Surabaya. 

Prof. Zhu and the delegation were received by Mrs. Esther, Mrs. Dina, Mrs. Adin and Mr. Gunawan, all school counselors. Prof. Zhu briefly introduced the university and updated the teachers about the SMAK 5 alumni at CUHKSZ. 

An information session was hosted at one of the classrooms, attended by around 30 students and teachers. Ms. Roxy Luo, the manager of International Admissions, introduced CUHKSZ and the entry requirements for the 2024 entry. 

Initially founded in September 1951, Petra 1 is accredited A status in 2004. As the full name goes, it is a Christian private high school, which aims to become a Christian educational institution that is holistic, inspirational and achieves wholeheartedly for God and others.

Petra 1 works with ACT in English language training is very important in preparing students to enter a higher level of education. Besides English, the school also offers Chinese and Korean language education.

Currently, 5 Petra 1 alumni are studying at SDS, SME and SSE of CUHKSZ.
