On 13 August 2024, CUHK-Shenzhen co-hosted a Scholarship Award Ceremony (2024 Entry) with the Ministry of Education, Thailand in Bangkok. Mr. Paul Ke (Director, Office of Academic Links, CUHK-Shenzhen) and Dr. Poramet Charoynoot (Advisor to International Cooperation, Office of Basic Education Commission) hosted the ceremony.

Dr. Ketthip Supavanich (Deputy Secretary General, OBEC) also joined the ceremony. She expressed her gratitude to CUHK-Shenzhen for supporting talented Thai students to study in China. She encouraged Thai students to make the most of university life and promote the cultural exchange between the two countries.

Freshmen (2024 Entry) and their families, current Thai students, prospects and their families, representatives from partner high schools also joined the ceremony.
