Application system

Application Rounds:

• 1st round: by Nov 12, 2023
• 2nd round: by Jan 14, 2024
• 3rd round: by Mar 3, 2024
• 4th round*: by Apr 7, 2024**

*Applications received in this round will NOT be considered for entry scholarship. Incomplete applications without all necessary documents or a qualifying English language proficiency test result will NOT be reviewed. 

**This is also the deadline by which the conditional offer holders need to submit extra documents to receive an unconditional offer. 

[IMPORTANT]

If you intend to apply during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round, but do not have a qualifying English language proficiency test result ready, you can still submit your application, and upload the test result later before Apr 7, 2024. However, please take note that demonstrating good English proficiency when submitting your application will give you a better chance of a better offer.

Interview

Some of the applicants who are considered for a tuition-based entry scholarship will be offered an interview. An applicant can NOT request an interview. 

If you are invited for an interview, you will be informed via email by the school of your preference. 

Evaluation

Applicants will be considered on the basis of their educational background, academic and non-academic achievements, etc. If they are invited to attend an interview, their performance at the interview will also be taken into consideration.

Withdrawal

You can withdraw your application at any point in the application process. Please use the withdrawal function in the application system, and email intlugapply@cuhk.edu.cn. If you withdraw after paying the Advance Tuition Fee (ATF), the fee is NOT refundable.
