Application system

Application Rounds: All times below are of China Local Time (GMT+8)

• Early Bird: by 23:59:59, Oct 31, 2025

• Regular Round: by 23:59:59, Mar 9, 2026

• Late Round*: by 23:59:59, Apr 17, 2026

*Applications received in this Late Round will NOT be considered for any scholarship. Incomplete applications without all necessary documents will NOT be reviewed. The deadline for submitting a qualifying English language proficiency test result is April 16, 2026. No conditional offer will be made in this round.

[IMPORTANT]

If you intend to apply during the Early Bird and Regular Round, but do not have a qualifying English language proficiency test result ready, you can still submit your application, and upload the test result later before Apr 16, 2026. However, please take note that demonstrating good English proficiency when submitting your application will give you a better chance of a better offer.

Interview

Some of the applicants will be offered an interview by the school of their preference. Being offered an interview does NOT mean you are being considered for a scholarship. An applicant can NOT request an interview. 

If you are invited for an interview, you will be informed via email by the school of your preference. 

Evaluation

Applicants will be considered based on their educational background, academic and non-academic achievements, etc. If they are invited to attend an interview, their performance at the interview will also be taken into consideration.

Withdrawal

You can withdraw your application at any point in the application process. Please use the withdrawal function in the application system, and email intlugapply@cuhk.edu.cn. If you withdraw after paying the Deposit, the fee is NOT refundable.
